Ink and Toners El Paso Frequently Asked Questions
What cartridge components have been replaced?
Factories will utilize new parts when possible, including imaging units (drums), blades, mag rollers, chips, graphics quality toner powder for monochrome toners, and chemical toner for color models. Remanufactured cartridges contain up to 80% new parts and maintain an overall defective rate not exceeding two percent. Remanufactured cartridges reduce your business impact on the environment and reduce your operating cost.
What certifications do remanufacturing centers hold?
All of our supplier remanufacturing centers hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, as well as Standardized Test Methods Committee (STMC) certifications. Each and every cartridge is individually print-tested at the remanufacturing center prior to packing to ensure low defect rates.
What is your cartridge warranty?
All cartridges are warranted to be free of defects from material, workmanship, and performance for a duration of one year from the date of purchase. If at any time, compatible parts and supplies fail to perform according to the aforementioned warranty, we will replace the cartridge free of cost.
How is the page yield of your cartridges calculated?
A cartridges rated page yield (number of pages to be printed) is based on five percent page coverage - a standard business letter. For example, if a cartridge is rated to yield 10,000 pages at five percent (5%) and the user is actually printing with 25% page coverage (a typical newsletter), then the cartridge will only yield 2,000 pages due to the higher amount of page coverage (25% versus 5%).
